About TuxArena

What is TuxArena?
I created TuxArena with the intention of writing Linux-related articles, especially Ubuntu and Debian tutorials (since that's what I'm using) and generally any kind of Linux-related information.

Who are you?
I've been using Linux for over four years now, and I'm really dedicated to it. My distribution of choice has to be Debian, but I usually keep the last release of Ubuntu on a second partition in order to test new applications and features. I'm not a professional, but I thrive to learn new things every day.

Except for TuxArena, I worked for a while on another project hosted on SourceForge, to create several XChat plugins (which are now deprecated). Another project aimed to create a trivia bot for IRC (XPTB), since I'm a fan of this protocol, but I no longer work at it at the moment, focusing instead only on this blog. I'm (usually) an active member of UbuntuForums, Debian Forums, Wesnoth and the Last.fm communities. As you can see, I'm also a passionate rock 'n' roll listener.

Linux is one of my hobbies, and also one of the domains that I hope I will master some day.

How can I contact you?

Where to go from here?
You can start browsing through the articles on this blog, organized in categories. Check out the tutorials, reviews or tips articles, or maybe you would like to read an essay I wrote two years ago regarding my first Linux encounter. If you like this blog, don't forget to use the Subscribe To button to the right to subscribe to my RSS feeds.
